Jumping Generations

Together the residents & pupils enjoyed shared reading, art & crafts, lego & the weather station project.

Every week the residents & pupils did alternative ideas of what they could share together. Letting both ages experience new & old activities.



The pupils brought reading books to read to the residents.

The pupils shared songs from school music projects.

The pupils each brought a modern day toy for a show and tell to the residents.

Pen Friends

Exchanging handmade christmas cards brings great joy to both parties making them and recieving them.

St Margarets Academy & MiddletonHall Residents have great time sending & receiving mail.


Home Baking

Students as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards enjoy assisting the residents of MiddletonHall with homebaking then happy times having a chat & cuppa enjoying the cakes.


MiddletonHall Residents &

 Uphall Children raise funds for adapted bikes for the elderly.

Cycle from Uphall to Broxburn to raise funds and awareness about keeping active.


Bird Feeders

MiddletonHall Residents & Uphall Nursery enjoy making bird cakes to feed the birds for over the winter period,


Weather Station

The residents of MiddletonHall made two weather stations to share with the local school children.

Over a few months they jointly recorded the weather in their area to compair the differences.
